We are proud to share an important milestone in the growth of Bridgeroots UK. It is with great pleasure that we announce Jinali Mahyavanshi has officially joined the governance of Bridgeroots UK as a Director.
Jinali is an accomplished Clinical Psychologist, currently working within an NHS Trust in Leicester, and brings with her a strong foundation of clinical expertise, ethical practice, and deep understanding of community-based mental health support. Over the years, she has worked closely with individuals and families across the UK, developing a particular strength in supporting people from diverse and ethnic communities, recognising the real-life challenges many face in accessing care that feels safe, culturally understood, and genuinely responsive.
At Bridgeroots, we have always believed that health and wellbeing cannot be separated from identity, lived experience, community, and belonging. As our initiatives continue to expand and evolve, Jinali’s presence within our leadership team represents a meaningful step forward—strengthening our mission to build inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive pathways that support communities not only in crisis, but in long-term healing, resilience, and empowerment.
Her contribution will be invaluable as Bridgeroots UK continues its strategic expansion across regions, strengthening partnerships and widening access to community-led wellbeing initiatives that bridge clinical insight with compassionate, grassroots support.
Dr Neha Sharma, Founder of Bridgeroots UK, shared “I am truly delighted to welcome Jinali to Bridgeroots as a Director. Her dedication, professionalism, and long-standing experience working with diverse communities aligns deeply with our vision for culturally responsive and trauma-informed care. As we enter our next phase of growth, her guidance and expertise will add immense strength to our governance and our ability to expand our impact with integrity and purpose.”
We extend a warm welcome to Jinali as she joins us on this journey. We look forward to working together to shape the future of Bridgeroots UK—one rooted in compassion, inclusion, and meaningful change for communities across the UK.
